Welcome!

Thanks for visiting our brand new blog which we intend to update regularly with our latest wedding photography, engagement shoots and any other interesting work or personal photos.

We are Grant & Liezl Laidlaw, owners of RGB Photography based in The Scottish Borders. We consider ourselves very privilidged when asked to photograph each wedding and our work takes us all over the U.K.

When you contact us regarding your wedding photography Liezl will guide you through our album and disc options and is happy to help you with the timings and planning of your big day, if required.

Both of us will document your wedding day, however Grant is the main photographer and has been using an SLR camera since he was 9 (a long, long time ago!).

We hope that you enjoy visiting our Blog which will showcase  our creative and truly photojournalistic approach to wedding photography.

Grant & Liezl

About our wedding photography

Grant is a qualified member of The Wedding Photo Journalist Association which is an organisation with extremely strict membership criteria - only 5% of wedding photographers actually qualify for membership!

According to the WPJA it "puts the world's best wedding photography at your fingertips". We offer a new perspective on wedding photography - quietly capturing the real moments as they happen for the bride and groom.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Membership in the WPJA depends entirely on photographers meeting our high standards for inclusion. One CANNOT simply pay his/her way into the WPJA."

While we at RGB Potography place an emphasis on quietly documenting all those special moments during your wedding day we will also take formal photos of both the bride and groom and family groups exactly as a traditional wedding photographer would do. We typically aim to complete the formal groups in under 30 minutes and then spend another 30 minutes with the bride and groom on their own, leaving them with a further 6 hours of reportage coverage at a standard length wedding.
